I've received some feedback recently on What My Husband Knew and was happy to know that you liked it! I was also asked if this story would have a continuation.
I swear sometimes, I am sure you ladies are psychic! Not only have I been working on it, but it's turning out to be quite a bit longer than I thought it would. YAY!!
I've been putting together more for you from Marlena, Brandon and Christopher's story. It is not yet available, but read on for a teaser to wet your whistles!
What My Husband Wanted
Brandon entered the cool office as the tall, blonde receptionist smiled widely at him, her bright red lipstick contrasting seductively with her bleached teeth and matching her red suit perfectly. He straightened his black tie slowly as he sauntered over to her large desk and leaned on it casually, all dimples as he grinned at her forwardly.
“Christopher Carter’s office, will you hold please? Thank you.” She said, never breaking eye contact with Brandon.
“How may I help you?” She asked flirtatiously, lifting her elbows up onto the table.
“I have an appointment with Chris at one thirty. I’m early.” He replied, still grinning.
“So you are. I’ll let him know you’re here, you can have a seat.” She winked as she lifted the telephone to her ear. “Thank you, how may I help you?”
Brandon was barely across the room when the door to Christopher’s office flew open.
“Brandon!” He called, holding his arms wide as if he intended to embrace him.
“Chris.” Brandon nodded as he gracefully redirected his route and slipped easily into Christopher’s office, the receptionist admiring him all the time.
“How are you, Brandon?” Chris asked nervously, his silver suit fit him nicely, every blonde hair on his head was in place.
Brandon thought he might have even been friends with him, had the situation been different, but for all that had happened in the last month, since Brandon and Marlena began to sleep together, Chris had left a sour taste in his mouth. The worst of it was, he was completely unaware that they’d continued to see one another after that night four weeks ago. Or so Marlena thought.
“Oh I’m fine. Just fine. What did you want to see me about?” Brandon asked, his jaw flexing involuntarily as his mouth suddenly became dry.
“I am on a time limit, I’ve got a client arriving shortly so I’ll make this quick. I don’t want you taking Marlena to your home anymore. I don’t like it.” He said, his gaze unwavering as he stared into the dark eyes of his wife’s lover.
The air between them crackled as Brandon leaned forward in his seat, a sly smile on his lips.
“So you knew after all.” Brandon said, mostly to himself.
“Yes, well, I know of two occasions.” Chris smiled, trying to assure the man before him that he meant no threat.
“That’s all of them.” Brandon said honestly, holding Chris’s stare.
“Well. I can’t say that I am happy about it, but I do understand. I only wish you’d come to my home, to our home instead.”
Brandon swallowed and ran his thumb along his lip, pondering his next statement. He was uncomfortable, but only because he longed to catapult across the ornate table serving as a desk and beat the shit out of the stupid man before him. He’d be kidding himself if he said he didn’t want Marlena all to himself. But he would take her any way he could have her. For now.
“Will do, Christopher. Will do.” Brandon said, standing. “But, tell me, why is it that you don’t want me to bring your wife to my home anymore?”
“Because I’d like to see what you’re doing with my wife.” Christopher replied, never looking up from his papers on his desk.
Brandon nodded as a salacious smile crossed his face, “Very well.”
